This document presents a comparison of single specimens and test specimens assembled with bolts and nuts in a dissimilar metal contact corrosion test, as well as comparisons of precipitation-hardened stainless steel and various types of stainless steel. The test specimens with bolts and nuts were combined and immersed in tap water at 65°C, and for comparison, single specimens (plate-shaped test pieces) were also evaluated. After 45 days of immersion, the test specimens were removed, and photographs of their appearance were taken.
